My name is Ludivinia Brock. This book is my life's story. It begins with my arrival in Hong Kong in 1971. Helping my aunt in her orphanage, for three years, was my goal. Once I graduated nursing school, I grabbed my packed bags and embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. It was a curse, she'd died the night before I arrived, and a blessing in the form of a tiny, unresponsive Chinese girl who stole my heart.
